Film make-up course

We offer this course for those who gained adequate practice in make-up and would like to learn the movie make-up techniques with the essential theoretical knowledge. The course involves the application and painting of prostheses elements (nose, ear and brows bones enlargement) that became more and more important in Hungary as well in the field of movie make-up.

Theory:
Material knowledge • knowledge of tools and usage • skin types • colours in theory • make-up trends in the movies • face anatomy • theory of video and film making • bases of prosthetic make-up (material knowledge)

Practice:
Make-up of the ages • men’s make-up • airbrush make-up • camouflage • putting on the bald wig • putting on hairs (moustache, beard) • stick up and painting of prostheses (nose, ears) • old age make-up • making scarring • character make-up

Duration of the course: 125 hours
